Blackmon has over 30 years of experience in property and casualty insurance both as an independent agent and company employee. Drawing on his diverse background in the insurance industry, Ben leads sales, underwriting and risk management teams working with a network of independent insurance agents in nine states throughout the Midwest.
 
Ben has prior community involvement as Secretary of the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus, Ohio. In addition, he served in various leadership positions for the Rotary Club of Charles County Maryland and served as President of the La Plata (Md) Business Association.

Ben received his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
