Pam Matthews is Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing for the Kroger Co. Central Division which consists of 156 stores located primarily in Indiana and Illinois. Pam oversees advertising, marketing, pricing, item selection and buying/merchandising. She is also a member of the Charitable Giving Committee at the Kroger Central Division.
Prior to coming to Indianapolis in January 2007, Pam worked at the Kroger Co. Headquarters in Cincinnati where she held various management positions.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Pam was active in the community as a member of the Board of Directors for the non-profit “Store to Door” organization. The Portland-based organization shopped and delivered food to needy individuals unable to leave their home but still wanted to remain independent. Pam also participated as a “Loaned Executive” to United Way during their fundraising campaign.
Pam lives in Zionsville, Indiana with her husband Craig, daughter Montana, and son Cole. Pam and Craig love good food and good wine. The family enjoys a variety of sports including skiing, boating, soccer, baseball, and golf.
