Difficult economic conditions have impacted The Julian Center’s clients’ abilities to find employment, obtain housing and set up new households. Many of our clients lack basic necessities like food, household, and personal care items, or reliable transportation to live independently.
What is it?
After careful consideration, The Julian Center has launched the “Basic Needs Campaign” for our clients. This campaign helps our donors provide items to advance our clients' goals of employment and housing. The Julian Center’s goal is to create an opportunity and environment where the needs and desires of our donors and clients are met.
How can YOU help?
Collect and donate items off our
Wish List. We are always in need of the following items:
- Diapers (size 3,4,5)
- Blankets, sheets and pillows
- Non-perishable food (canned and boxed items)
Purchase $10, $25 or $50 gift cards at local retailers which will be given to Julian Center clients in need:
- Gasoline for vehicles (local gas stations)
- Groceries for families and individuals (Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Marsh)
- New clothing and shoes for clients (Walmart, Target, Meijer)
Donate an undesignated gift which allows us to allocate your dollars where they are needed most - often for utility reconnections, down payment assistance, or other purchases for domestic violence victims and their children.
