Charitable gift annuities
In exchange for your irrevocable gift of cash or securities, The Julian Center will pay you a guaranteed fixed income for the rest of your life and/or the life of a designated loved one.  A portion of your annual income is tax-free and you receive a charitable tax deduction at the time of your gift.

Charitable remainder trusts
By transferring cash or property, The Julian Center will pay you an income for the rest of your life and, if you wish, pay your heirs for life or for a term of years.  Read more >>

Life insurance
If you have a paid up insurance policy you no longer need, you can gift it to The Julian Center.  By naming The Julian Center the owner as well as the beneficiary of the policy, the gift is tax deductible.  The gift will be based on the value of the policy at the time of the donation.

Retirement plan assets
Your assets in your retirement plan accounts, such as a 401(k) plan or IRA, grow tax-free but have significant built-in tax liability.  This burden is especially true for your children.  Consider using all or part of these assets as a charitable gift to The Julian Center.  Allocating a gift of retirement plan assets can be as simple as changing the designated beneficiary with your broker or employer.

Endowment
Endowments provide a powerful way to make a gift to The Julian Center in your name or in the name of a loved one while realizing tax benefits.  By donating to our endowment you can continue to provide services to victims into perpetuity.*

Donor advised fund
A donor advised fund can give you the power of a private foundation without the expense or complexity.  If you have a fund already established, please consider making a distribution to The Julian Center in support of our programs and services.  Read more >>

* The Julian Center endowment is managed by the Central Indiana Community Foundation / CICF.
