Christine Arthur, M.A., LMHC, ATR-BC, received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from The Naropa Institute in Boulder, CO in 1996.  She is a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist with the ATCB. Christine has been at The Julian Center since 1999.  She specializes in the treatment of women and children who have experienced trauma by use of a psychodynamic approach to art therapy.  Areas of special interest include implementation of an Open Art Studio model with women and children who are experiencing life transitions, art-based psycho-educational approaches to parenting groups, and family art therapy.
