Sarah O'Brien, ACSW, LCSW, has been at The Julian Center since January 2001.  She has worked with children and families for over 25 years at a local mental health center where she was team leader of the child and adolescent service line.  Sarah works with children who have been traumatized by emotional and physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, rejection, and abandonment.  Parents are included as part of the child's treatment process, often seeing them for assistance with child management issues.  Sarah also provides individual therapy for women who have been traumatized by domestic violence, sexual abuse, or assault.
