Sexual assault is a violent crime in which someone is forced to have sex against her or his will. Survivors of sexual assault often experience severe emotional and physical violation. For most rape victims, the world may suddenly feel unsafe, unfair, unpredictable, and beyond their control. Intense feelings of self-blame, shame, and anger are common, and the process of recovery can be difficult.

Currently under construction, this section will provide you will critical information on prevention and intervention strategies, medical and legal procedures, the recovery process, and how to support friends, relatives or clients who have been raped.
