Ongoing Needs
Thrifty Threads, our
donation center at 1021 Broad Ripple Avenue, always needs
volunteers to assist with sorting and pricing donations,
organizing, cleaning, etc. Hours are weekdays from 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Special Needs
There are occasional needs at the shelter for groups including
...
Sponsoring a weekend children's event (usually Saturdays from 1:30
- 3:30 p.m.)
Sorting and inventorying closets
Assisting in the kitchen (weekends)
Participating in special projects (community garden planting,
etc.)
