The Julian Center, Central Indiana’s leading provider of services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, announced today that the Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Catherine O’Connor, plans to retire at the end of this year. The Board of Directors has formed a search committee to help find their next chief executive officer (CEO). O’Connor has served in this role since March 2014, during which time the organization has continued to build on its reputation as Central Indiana’s leader in serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Though the Board hopes to have a new CEO in place by the end of the year, their priority is finding the right candidate to lead the organization into the future. O’Connor will be available to the Center as this process unfolds to help transition the new candidate. Additional updates from the search committee will be shared in the coming months.
