Earlier this month, representatives from Valentine’s Day for Indiana Women’s Shelters stopped by The Julian Center to spread love and kindness for the holiday. The group raised over $3,600 and helped more than 300 women and children in our Shelter.

Over the past five years, the group has helped approximately 900 women and children across the state of Indiana and has raised more than $11,000. Their fundraising efforts are used to purchase and donate items to shelters, including: candy, flowers, stuffed animals, pillows, blankets, diapers, and other essential items domestic violence survivors need while living in a shelter.
